There’s a new button over on the sidebar, it looks like this:
That will take you to American Snipers where you can donate items or money to support snipers over in Iraq and Afghanistan.
First be advised that NO funds or equipment from this endeavor will be used to supplement someone’s salary (Snipersonline / AmericanSnipers.org has no paid employee’s) or pad the coffers of this association. ALL FUNDS and GEAR will be used to support the snipers that are in need of our help. Individuals and companies have chosen to help support forward deployed snipers, our brothers in arms, by supplying them with items they need to get the job done and generally making their lives easier while on deployment.
On Friday, March 13, 2009, John Stossel looks at “Bailouts, Big Spending, and Bull” with segments about the crackdown on medical marijuana, universal preschool, traffic congestion, stimulus spending, border walls, and the myth of the struggling middle class—all inspired by Drew Carey’s award-winning Reason.tv videos.
Tonight will be a good show. Breda will be talking to Kathy Jackson of The Cornered Cat.
I want you to tell your wives, girlfriends, daughters, sisters, mothers, best friends – all the women in your life – to listen to tonight’s Gun Nuts Radio. Caleb and I will be talking to Kathy Jackson, freelance author and owner of The Cornered Cat, one of the most important resources for women beginning to consider shooting and self-defense.
We’ll be learning about Kathy, her mission to introduce people to the shooting sports and more specifically, we’ll also discuss the many issues surrounding women who shoot and women who choose to carry for self-defense.
It’s going to be a terrific show, don’t miss it.
It’s gonna be a great show. Listen live here tonight at 8pm CST.
Face it: If your gun hasn’t broken something, you’re not shooting it enough. Or you’re incredibly lucky. But don’t kid yourself that it won’t happen. Springs and extractors are wear parts. That means they wear. Which means they break. Replace them on a schedule.
I’ll take it one step further. If you rarely shoot your carry gun, you’re not doing yourself any favors. Daily carry is tough on a gun. Moisture, salt and dirt build up in the most inconvenient places, which means your gun could (And Murphy says it will) fail at the worst possible time.
Keep parts kits on hand, and shoot regularly. Besides, it’s more fun.
Breda and what’s-his-name will be talking to Gordon Hutichinson about the gun grabbing shenanigans that went on on New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina.
